Adresse: Bellingen NSW, Australia .The Bellingen Brewery & Co can be found tucked away in the heart of Bello Shire, behind a curtain of greenery that snakes and vines it's way up the front entrance of this inviting and imaginative space.
All materials used in the build were recycled and locally sourced to create a unique and homey experience with minimal environmental impact.
The pizza is hand-kneaded and wood-fired (we couldn't go past the classics Margarita and Funghi!) and the Porter and Pale Ale is something to brag about. We enjoyed a quiet, mid-week catch up with friends, though come the weekend live acts attract a full house and
play from the mezzanine floor above the bar!
Urunga Boardwalk
Adresse: Urunga NSW, Australia .Following the Boardwalk 1km to the end takes you from the quaint town of Urunga right out to where the ocean meets the Bellingen River mouth. A high tide means more chance of spotting creatures and sea life beneath the surface though we enjoyed the patterns nature had created when the tide was low.
Whale Watching

This makes the Coffs Coast one of the best and most convenient locations in Australia to experience the whales up close and personal.
Coffs Harbour has a safe access harbour and no sand bar, so our Coffs Harbour whale watching season operates uninterrupted from June to November annually, weather and sea conditions permitting.
As the whales travel close to the coastline we generally sight whales within 15 minutes of leaving the harbour.

Coffs Harbour is well known for its banana plantations, and blueberry farms – even blueberry wine. And there is so much more.
Our spectacular coastal location, nestled between the Pacific coast and the Great Dividing Range, is evolving into a serious food destination.
Coffs Harbour also offers delicious vegan sweet or savoury bites, Ethiopian cuisine, and contemporary or traditional Italian cuisine. Seafood lovers can feast on whole steamed trout or maybe a pan-fried whole baby snapper - or the freshest oysters?
Or if Tomahawk steaks are more to your liking, I know the best places.
You will eat well in Coffs if you know where to go – and knowing where is my super power.
And our local brewing and distillery game is strong.
Tucked away in Studio Lane in the city centre, King Tide Brewery serves craft beers on tap and niche limited edition brews – some named after local surf spots like Gallows Beach, or the Laneway Guardian DDH IPA with its own urban myth story.
At Woolgoolga you can choose between Woopi Brewery Co, or Critters Distillery who produce vodka, rum, and gin.
There are also lots of hidden places I can share with you on my customised and private tours – surrounded by green, or bush to beach paths, and beaches with birdlife and serenity.

Wajaana Yaam Gumbaynggirr Adventure Tours are important for our local Gumbaynggirr community. Tourism provides us with the opportunity to ensure the continuation of the transfer of intergenerational cultural knowledge whilst also providing employment.
Furthermore, a proportion of our profits will be invested in Bularri Muurlay Nyanggan Aboriginal Corporation (BMNAC). BMNAC delivers weekly after school learning centres (90 annually), cultural camps and extensive Gumbaynggirr language revitalization initiatives.

Coffs Creek walk and cycleway

The Coffs Creek Walk and Cycleway is a popular local route, suitable for family and friends, with places to stop along the way for a coffee, picnic, to fish or swim.
We usually start at the Dolphin Marine Conservation Park, but you can start any number of places such as the swimming pool, Botanic Gardens, Promenade, Showgrounds etc.
If you have less time or energy, the walk can easily be shortened by crossing the creek on Hogbin Drive and only doing the downstream or upstream loop.
Nature along the creek
The Coffs Creek walk passes by the North Coast Regional Botanical Gardens. Just outside the entrance on the right, a satin bower bird has built a blue boudoir. Across the street from the gardens is a large tree that was pruned but retained for habitat.
Fish eagles nest in large trees alongside the creek, and fish can be seen swimming near the mangrove boardwalk. We’ve seen land mullet and other wildlife, so keep your dogs on leash.
Paperbarks and salt marsh border the creek, corkwood and scribbly gum line the path, blueberry ash and bottlebrush xanthorrhoea flower in spring.
The Buluunggal walk section of Coffs Creek walk has a number of colourful interpretive signs describing how the Gumbaynggir people use the creek. Buluunggal is the Gumbaynggirr name for the creek, meaning mullet.
Timbergetters were active on the creek last century, floating their cedar logs to beach. What do you think the rusty metal object on the path near the Showgrounds was used for?
You are sure to see fisherfolk along your walk, both on the creek banks or in the water on kayaks. Ropes hang from a number of trees, maybe you’ll see kids leaping into the water.
